Saturday – losing the motivation

I need to find some motivation. I have 5 months to go till ironman and I’m starting to loose some of my determination etc.
I’ve felt like this all week and now I’m worrying if this is not going to pass. Am I going to actual give up? Will I have the mental resolve to continue this journey?
I know the weather isn’t helping at all. Shit what shall I do???
I have club swimming tomorrow and I’m going to take the TT bike out for 50/60km.
I need some inspiration!!

    Sometimes, you need an off day and to let the batteries recharge. I have a hard time with staying motivated for an event that is months away. I always have a bunch of “train thru” and “B” level events to keep me going. In next several months, I have a sprint, half IM, a marathon and some HM and long bike rides on my way to my Ironman. Of course, I won’t be competitive and am simply looking to finish. Good luck!

    Thanks rmarier2014 I do agree with what you’re saying. I do have several other “B” events on the run up to the Ironman. I think that I am just having a bit of “ironman Panic”. If i’m not training or really pushing it I’m worried I may not be able to do it. I appreciate your comments and know I just need to relax a little from time to time as suggested. Cheers
